AR POINTS
AR message from Mrs. Sanders:
May 22 will be the final day for students to earn more AR points. I know there are a few students still trying to make it the 100 point club and I will still be doing the drawing for the Kindle Fires. I will do the drawing on May 26. Thanks for continuing to encourage your students to read and take these quizzes! I know everyone is growing weary...hang in there!

Discovery Education
Reading assignment for week of 4/27
This week for reading we are going to try our a new website, Discovery Education. I am working on learning how to assign lessons for you to complete. Click the picture to take you to the website and follow the sign in procedures. I am working on an assignment for Main Idea and details for this weeks lesson. The lesson should come up as you enter the site. I think there are a lot of interesting things to explore. Try a virtual field trip or search a topic like insects to see what you can discover. I will be adding some math lessons and other subjects as I figure my way through.
Leveled Readers
Week of April 13, 2020 and April 20, 2020
Week of 4/20- I am leaving these same stories from last week for this week. If you completed a story response last week, you may choose a 2nd story near your level to do for this week. The ones I have received have done an excellent job identifying the genre and completing the responses. You do not have to print off a response sheet, writing on paper or a word doc is fine.
Guided Reading Response to Traditional Stories- Read the type of traditional stories above.
